INTERNATIONAL CALLIGRAPHY EXHIBITION

Dear Madam/Sir,

The Civic Association “KULTURA ĆIRILICE” (The Culture of Cyrillic) has been organizing for several years now exhibitions of the typographic alphabets and graphic design.  This year, however, we are launching a new project:

INTERNATIONAL CALLIGRAPHY EXHIBITION

We are hereby inviting calligraphy artists, members of arts associations as well as free-lance artists in the field of typographic alphabets to take part in this Exhibition. 
All caligraphy works submitted for the Exhibition should represent their relevant national language and alphabet.
All entries should be sent in a digital form and in size of 300 points per inch for the exhibition format 50 x 70cm by 15 February 2014 for the main event, to the following address:

The International Calligraphy Exhibition will be first staged in the spring 2014 in a large gallery in Belgrade but will later be organized as a travelling exhibition through various countries in the world.

All works will be handled with utmost care, but the organizer shall not be responsible for possible loss and/or damage during transport and display of works.

The Civic Association “Kultura  Ćirilice” (The Culture of Cyrillic) will organize as well prepare printing of all designated works at our own expense and with assistance by our sponsors.  Please enclose your photo and CV to go with your relevant work(s).

The Organizer shall exercise their right to freely use any and all accepted works in related publicity, exhibitions, etc. without payment in any form.
It is implicit that authors submitting their works accept the rules mentioned above, but the authors will remain in control of their portrait right, copyright and fame concerned in their relevant works.

Please note that “Kultura Ćirilice” is a non-profit organization and that all our activities, including the Exhibition, are non-profit as well.
